"The Crossing of Chelsea"

This is a follow-up to "The Temptation of Everett," which is almost at 12,000 likes 🥳 I'm really happy people are enjoying it. In fact, a lot of people have messaged me, asking what happens next.

Perhaps there's a way I can work this into my classical works project?

The triptych was a story-telling device in early Christian art and was really popular from the middle ages through the renaissance. Think of it like a three-panel comic (where the middle panel is always the biggest) but for religious propaganda.

I thought this might work well for our protagonist, Everett. This middle panel is a progression for him...a sort of personal growth instigated by these three beefy guys.

This was another chance to use Albertism; a very rarely used composition technique first described by Leon Battista Alberti, based on the growth of musical chords, it seemed fitting. By aligning Everett to the ascending notes, we show him progressing through this panel.

Each piece is a slice of his time with these men, and a peek into his transformation.

I'll post the final image next week. It's a big finale of growth for him.
